Gerber, the trusted children's company, recently announced that it's revamping online efforts to better meet the needs of its customers. The brand has completely overhauled the ecommerce store with a user-friendly platform that is comparative to a comprehensive in-store shopping experience.

More parents are turning to online shopping as an alternative to going to retail stores. In a recent survey, 59 percent of mothers said they spent less time shopping in stores regardless of their children's ages and a third said they spent more time looking for items online, according to a study by Eric Mower and Associates, reported by Daily Deal Media. They also used the internet to find discounts and coupons for merchandise, the source reports.
With changes made to the brand's website, including more expansive offerings and an easy to navigate store, the company can inspire customer satisfaction and loyalty in the new generation of consumers.
